Using T-Stats as a Data Collection and Analysis Tool: Dashboard
The Dashboard is the home screen of T-Stats. It provides a quick, at-a-glance overview of the performance of your destination. Each box in the dashboard shows the status of the data in each of the T-Stats trackers.
What Analytics are Possible?
The Dashboard is mainly visual, although you do have some control over what you can view. As an example, the Accommodation: Average Rate (top left hand box below) is described here in further detail.
The Dashboard shows, as default, data for the last 12 months (in this case October 2018-September 2019). The Accommodation: Average Rate box shows that the average room rate for this period has been £88, and this is up (therefore shown in green) by 2.3% on the previous 12-month period (October 2017 to September 2018). The line in the box shows how the rate has changed over the 12 month period giving a broad idea of seasonality.
You can change a Dashboard box from Last 12 Months to Last Month (bottom left hand corner). The data now changes to the last month (in this case September 2019). It shows that the Average Room Rate was £97 in September 2019, and this is up 5.4% compared to September 2018.
Where Does the Data Come From?
All the data in the Dashboard is compiled from the trackers in your T-Stats system, which includes Accommodation, Attractions, and all the My Destination trackers. National Trackers are not included in the Dashboard.
You can choose which trackers you wish to appear in the Dashboard – which can be as many or as few as you wish.
